No! No! No! Not me! It’s my “colleague” who ate this amount of prawn for one meal. Oh! He simply love prawn so much. Can’t resist the temptation. Kudos pal! Keep it up, I’m proud of you!
PS : I think he hasn’t got enough, it’s just 10-ish as shown…

Malaysian food in Wellington

Been craving for this for some time, every time when I speak to my darling, she always tells me about her “nasi lemak” adventure in her office. Knowing she works in an office where majority of her colleagues are Malay, I guess that’s why she like nasi lemak a lot. Walking out from my hotel, it’s a cold, rainy, windy and wet day, I end up settle for a hot “nasi lemak” in a so called – Satay Noodle House @ Cuba street. It’s certainly not perfect but that’s as good as you can get in a foreign city like Wellington. No complain!

Am I too “hardworking” or is it peer pressure ? I notice I’ve been blogging more often then I used to. Nah! May be is because I’m being abroad and nothing better to do
This is the coffee house opposite Telecom NZ’s site which I’ve exchange quite a bit of my cash for a “Tall Lattè”, but their coffee is really good here and they do give you a small voucher for an hour of free internet access when you spend on them. Blogging while sipping a hot coffee, isn’t that great ? Oh it is, trust me!

Continental Breakfast ?!?!

I was told that with the rate I’m paying for the room, there is a “Continental Breakfast Pack” included “in” the room. True enough there is cereal, orange juice, 2 slices of bread and a bottle of milk in the fridge. Oh man! With the cold weather out there, I’m not gonna settle with those food for my brekkie…
Guess what I have this morning ? A hot chicken and noodle soup, although it’s just normal (for an average Malaysian taste bud) but it taste best to me at that moment and I feel warm right from my stomach, that’s GREAT !!! 
Finally checked-in and settle in Quest Wellington, the room here is obviously not as new as Museum, given the rate they are offering, I think that’s “no complain” Did a quick test @ speedtest.net and here’s the output…for some reason the upload is always higher than the download, hopefully my pal in the other room is not downloading the world 
Not to forget there is “FREE” continental breakfast given in the room, should be good when you feel like getting something to bite but lazy to walk out… :icon_razz:
Museum Hotel, not again!

Believe it or not, there are still hotel charge their guest for Internet usage on “volume-based”, I used to stay in Museum Hotel every time when I come to Wellington for work. Obviously I did the same this time, after check-in, settling down, starting up my lappie and try to hook up the the Worldwide Web. Gosh! They are charging NZ$200.00 for 800MB of Internet usage. That is about RM 0.70 per MB, how on earth they can treat their customer like this. Unbelievable!!!
After 10 nights staying with them, I’m moving out to Quest Wellington which has much lower room rates and of course Internet @ NZ$39.00 per week (unlimited). This is more like it, yet to find out how’s the room and facilities, stay tuned…
Picton and beyond

Just posted some photos taken during my trip down to Picton, my pal and I went for a native bush walk up to one of the hill top to get a good view of Picton, it’s really a small town and nothing much to do.
However, the walk was good, we both sweat quite a lot and not bad after all. We spend about 5.5 hours in Picton for the walk plus an over-sized fish and chip. Really, the food here is always over-sized! But we like it because we are fungry (Ops! Did I just say that ? My new term – fungry) :icon_smile:
